Common questions about working with us
What does an insurance broker do for my business?
We work for you, not the insurer. We learn how your business runs, compare cover across a range of insurers, explain the key terms in plain English and help you through renewals and claims.
Does using a broker cost more?
Brokers are usually paid commission by the insurer, and some policies also carry a broker fee. We always disclose our fees and commission before you commit, so you can decide with full information.
Do you only work with businesses near you?
No. We service businesses Australia-wide by phone and email, so wherever you are, you get the same personal service.
Who is M & M Insurance Services licensed through?
We are an Authorised Representative of Ausure Pty Ltd (AFSL 238433), one of Australia's larger broker networks, which gives us access to a wide range of insurers.
What do you need from me to get started?
Usually your business details, what you do, your turnover, staff numbers and your current policy schedules if you have them. A short phone call is often enough to begin.
Can you help if I need to make a claim?
Yes. If you arranged cover through us, we help you lodge the claim, deal with the insurer and keep things moving.
